Scott Vaughan - Guitarist: Jim Marshall

Ever since the 1960s when drum teacher/music-store owner Jim Marshall's shop built the first prototype JTM45 model in the early 1960s, the  Marshall amp has been used by some of the greatest guitarists in rock history, from Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page to Billy Gibbons, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, and Zakk Wylde. On 04/10/2003 Jim Marshall himself was in town signing amps so I took my two Marshall JCM2000 DSL 50 heads in to get signed. Here are some picks below courtesy of Gary Boole who took them. The man holding the amps for Jim Marshall to sign is a sales Rep for Erickson the Canadian Distributor of Marshall products for Canada.
